The Basics
Name: Rose Dea
Nicknames: Rosie, Ro, Rose Red, Briar Rose
Gender: Female
Date Of Birth: March 22nd, 1986
Age: Twenty-five
Sexuality: Mostly Gay, but she has Bisexual Tendencies
Clan: Gli Animali
Race: Human
Appearance: A height of five feet eight inches, and weighing in around one hundred thirty pounds, Rose isn't exactly petite, but she isn't totally butch either. She has shorter arms and longer legs than average, with only adequately noticeable muscle at her upper arms and lower legs, otherwise looking skinny. Her breasts fill out a C cup, really her best asset of curves, since she has slim hips and not much of an butt but thick thighs. Her dark brown hair reaches to about shoulderblade length, with curls and waves through it most of the time, while her eyes are almond shaped and almond colored. Her lower lip is fuller than her upper lip and despite her relatively soft looking features she tends to have a hard expression on her.
Her choice in outfits do vary quite a bit, short pencil skirts when she wants, or loose baggy jeans when she wishes. The general rule of thumb for her is no shoe over a five inch heel, and to always look good no matter what she is wearing. She likes to look good for her own self worth and not for others. Her favorites to wear though are tank tops and camis, with pleated or flowy skirts or tight jeans to simulate an ass and generally only one inch heels. She tends to avoid jewelry almost entirely, not even having pierced anything. Occasionally she has a necklace to wear though if she is wearing something with a plunge neck.
She tends to smell like weres or canines despite being human with the slightest hint of grape. Her voice is on the low end of an alto, sometimes raspy, especially at the end of long days.
Abilities: None at all. A perfectly normal human being.
Playby: Eliza Dushku
Personality
Personality: Rose radiates an inner strength from just looking at the way she holds her self. She's not only just confident in herself, but constantly making sure to reaffirm that confidence. From the outside, she looks utterly and completely calm, collected and peaceful at all times. But really she is constantly thinking, processing, and assessing things as they come. She's a major thinker, and doesn't do a single thing without thinking it through first. She wasn't one to just dive right in to things like her sister. She had a tendency to always weigh pros and cons with a situation before deciding, and she can do it insanely fast too.
She never seems to loose her cool, and is very easily able to handle multiple things at once, multi-tasking in a variety of ways. She handles stress rather well, finding outputs for things that frustrate her rather than getting angry. She's almost certainly wise beyond her years, having been an observer to plenty in her life, and absorbing it all to use. Leaving her to be the go-to person, especially in her clan, about any problems they might have. She enjoys giving advice, but at the same time hates to see people squandering it. She's also a very observant individual, able to take one look at a room and tell you what color the lampshade on the desk was as well as the duck shapes that were on the bed sheets.
Rose often believes she has to take on things she normally doesn't have to, possessing something of an Atlas-complex. She'll carry the whole world on her shoulders if she has to. Going out of her way to help people if she thinks they need help, and not necessarily if they asked for it. She will even blame herself for a lot of things if she was even connected to them in some way.
She knows she looks good, and isn't afraid to use that. But because she is so very calculated, she can come off as being cold every once in a while. Mostly because in situations that would require passion (Anger, Love, Hate), she doesn't know how to handle them except logically.

The Past
Family: Mary Dea (Mother), Matthew Dea (Father), Toni Dea (Older Sister), Jonathan Dea (Grandfather)
Pets: Bud - Albino Red Fox - Two years old
History: Even from the moment Rose was born she was practically inseparable from her older sister. At first Toni always helping to take care of her, but as soon as Rose was old enough to walk and talk, which was hardly within a year, she was looking after her older sister more often. As the years went by, Rose did start to develop a jealousy toward her sister with some of the things she seemed to be able to do so easily, or carelessly without even getting hurt. A few of those times she had been freaked out, like when her sister fell from a tree, but she got up without a problem.
Even from a young age, hanging out with her sister and seeing the kinds of things she could do, along with being around and near the clan a lot of the time, she was able to piece together that her sister was special, and that she wasn't. This was possibly what spawned her trying so hard in schooling and track and anything she could, so that she could shine as well. But when she was twelve the reality of it all became clear, when she was there as their parents explained what Toni would become. Rose cried herself to sleep quietly that night, not wanting to deal with how she was feeling, she swore not to let it get to her, and so anytime she was around someone of the clan or her family she was happy, congratulating her sister.
At Fourteen, she had become one of the best track stars at school, as well as winning academic decathalons and a variety of other awards around 4H and FFA, but it was also the first time when her sister shifted into a Cheetah. Which trumped over everything Rose had been doing, still she worked harder, putting the frustration of not being a were either into learning anything she could. Around Toni, she started adapting, if she couldn't have better senses, she started using the ones she had better, becoming more observant and capable of absorbing information easier and faster.
She got to sit in, or at least sneak in occasionally when her grandfather started training Toni to be an Alpha. Rose wasn't a threat to it or anything, since she could never be the Alpha in the clan herself thanks to not being any kind of shifter, were or otherwise. The reasoning that Rose would be able to help occasionally for Toni if she ever needed it.
As the years went on Rose stayed around in New York, finishing out high school as the Valedictorian, and receiving a scholarship to Harvard. She decided against Harvard though, sticking with NYU to stay near the family and the clan and went into Zoology. Obtaining a bachelor in Science for Zoology before becoming a zoo keeper at the New York Zoo. Her focus was becoming a Mammalogist while at the Zoo, taking care of all sorts of animals, and even going back to school to obtain a Veterinary license.
When the outing of the supernatural world occurred it didn't really change Rose's life, even though she was human. Everything stayed relatively the same for her considering the world had changed considerably now, since she had already been apart of a clan for a while. Just after turning twenty-five and obtaining a Veterinary license and finishing her doctorate in Mammalogy, she was ranked up to senior and head Zookeeper at the New York City Zoo. The youngest ever to reach that position. However her concern came with the clan when her sister continually kept trying to squeeze away from being the new Alpha.

No matter how much the world changed, it was always staying the same. It was those kinds of paradoxes and pieces of wisdom that Rose particularly loved to spend the afternoon musing over. If there was ever one thing about being a zookeeper that she loved it was that she often got plenty of time to think. In fact, realistically, that was mostly all the time she had. Even on her days off.
When she wasn't at the zoo, she was pretty much always at home or with the clan doing something. So it might have seemed a tad unusual that on her day off she would simply come back to her work place, but she enjoyed working there, she enjoyed being there. And that was what mattered, enjoying her job to the point that she wanted to be there, even on days she wasn't swamped with some kind of non-sense.
A Fox cub, a kit, came pouncing on over toward her menacing almost. Which simply made Rose laugh right there. It got about five inches to her, before darting off again after one of its siblings. The Vixen that had given birth to the litter of funny little red foxes, had died in the process despite everything they could do, which unfortunately meant they had to try and tack them off onto other Vixens. All of them went except the one that was playing about around her now.
From looking at the kit, you wouldn't think it was a red fox at all, more an arctic fox, but Rose could tell the subtle differences that gave it away, despite its white fur. It came bounding over back toward her and pounced into her lap as Rose threw up her hands and a giggle came out of her without even thinking about it. Which was a rare thing for her. It coiled around in between her crossed legs batting a tiny paw at her jeans as she waved a finger over it.
Rose had been feeding this particular fox kit herself, it had been the oddball and youngest of the litter and she couldn't quite just leave it to die since none of the vixens would take it up. So she had put a petition through to obtain a license to legally house the fox. She had even already picked out a name for him, sure they wouldn't actually deny the request since the only alternative was to just let it die.
"Bud! Hey! That is my finger." Rose said before laughing again, while the little albino fox chewed on her index finger. Her other three fingers on that same hand already had bandages wrapped around it from being chewed on previously. Rose already knew she would have to invest in some chew toys or something for him. That is if the Zoo board actually authorized her to have him.
