The Basics
Name: Chase Sullivan
Nicknames: None
Gender: Female
Date of Birth: November 11th, 1993
Age: 19
Sexuality: Straight
Clan: Loner
Race: Human
Appearance: Chase’s appearance is not an eye catcher. She is not petite or feminine, nor does she act that way. When she was growing up Chase kept her hair short, on her grandfather’s wish. When she moved out she was talked into letting her hair grow out. Though she finds it strange, right now she has long blonde hair. Not being used to it, her hair can be seen as wild and ruffled.
Chase is tall and slender, though not many pay attention to her body since she tends to dress in baggy jeans and t-shirts. Her eyes are a crystal sky blue color and while some may find them pretty they may be scared off by the intensity of her eyes. Most of the time she appears to be glaring at you, though this is only until you get to know her, as she does not trust many. Any and all emotion she feels is reflected in her eyes, so some may call her what is known as “an open book”.
Abilities: Though Chase did not inherit the Were trait, she is able to see and communicate with ghosts.
Play-By: Taylor Swift
Personality
Personality: Chase is certainly not a social person. She greatly dislikes and distrusts people whom she does not know. It also takes quite a long time for her to consider anyone a friend, so the other person must be willing to help make the friendship work. When you are considered a friend to Chase however, she is loyal for life and will help you in any way she can.
When she is around someone she cares about, her guards are down and she is actually a happy person. She will laugh and enjoy the company, though this tends to be a rare part of her. She is headstrong and brave, though her courage may tend to get her into trouble with those who aren't human. She can be seen as defiant, as she does not like being told what to do. She is careful when making decisions and tends to think things through before she acts. The only time she really panics is when someone she truly cares for is in trouble.
She enjoys playing the violin, as this instrument kept her sane as a child. She can get lost into the flow of the music, hardly paying attention to her surroundings. Though she may be seen as quite good, she does not want to become a musician. Because of her strange ability, most often it seems as though she is talking to herself. Since she has done so for so long now, she no longer cares what others may think of this and only worries about who she is actually talking to. While she may not care much for the living, she does let her guard down when trying to help a ghost.
Likes: Her freedom, reading, jogging, being alone, playing the violin.
Dislikes: Being told what to do, strangers, thunder, most vampires.
The Past
Family: All deceased except for her brother, Maxwell.
Pets: Knight (Female German Shepherd Dog)
History: Chase was six when her parents died in a car crash. Her grandparents took her and her brother in, though they never felt like a family. Her grandfather had hoped she would be a son when her mother was pregnant, since her brother did not follow the family tradition of becoming a detective. When she was born her grandfather was disheartened, and paid the young toddler no mind. Even after the older couple took in the two children, Chase was left alone by her grandfather. For as long as she could remember, Chase could see the spirits of the dead. At first she did not realize there was something different about them. She was also confused as to why no one could see what she could. When she was eight her grandfather decided that her gender did not matter, that she could still surpass him.
Chase learned self-defense and was taught how to notice a person's reactions. This was as far as it went however, when Chase blurted out she did not want to be a detective. Her grandfather became abusive with her, both verbally and physically. He had had enough of people disobeying him and also of her telling him she could see ghosts. Chase did not fight back, instead taking the beatings as if they did not matter to her. Her brother would step in when he could, but he was not always there, having drifted away from the makeshift family.
Even so, Chase and her brother Maxwell were as close as they could be. They talked and saw each other regularly and depended on each other. Her brother often confronted their grandfather, but it did no good. Their grandmother was afraid and did not speak up. Though her brother wanted to take Chase away from the house, Chase disagreed. She wanted to make sure her grandmother was safe and did not care what happened to her. This went on for many more years until their grandmother passed away. This was when Chase was sixteen. With no one else to worry about, Chase went to live with Maxwell. She quickly found out that he lived a relaxed lifestyle, so she took it upon herself to make sure he did not starve or ruin the apartment. When she was eighteen Chase decided to move out on her own.

RP EXAMPLE: (I hope you don't mind that this is an old one)
Shadows were all over this place, nothing clearly visible. Two dogs were growling under what appeared to be a night sky. Mumbling words to each other that the other dog there did not know. The two dog's shadows did not appear to notice her as she watched from a distance. Close to the two dogs she could also smell the scent of blood. It was in the air and not just by them either. She could feel herself trying to hide, but why? Before she could say anything, a haze covered her vision, followed shortly by the feeling of terror and hate.
Eclipse woke up with a jolt. She scented the air, but could not smell nor hear anything besides the strong gusts of the wind. The air was cold and the wind was not helping any. She shivered as she got up from the bushes she decided to take a nap in. She shook off the leaves that had come onto her fur and stretched. Her muscles letting out a slow protest as she started to wake up. A yawn escaped from her maw as she looked around. There was no one else in sight, nor were there any signs of anyone around. Confused, she searched her mind for the answer and the memory came back. Fogdrop and some of the soldiers had gone off to the river. Were they fighting at the moment? The shepherd had wanted to go as well, but she had just recently joined the pack and had decided to stay out of the way.
She stretched once more before deciding to go for a night walk. She moved silently through the night, not making much noise - if any at all. Her paws touched the ground gently with her gait strong yet graceful. She was still upset about her nightmare, but let it flow to the back of her mind. She would not show weakness no matter what. Her brown eye searched the night sky dancing with stars and the moon. She breathed in the crisp air as the continued on her way, questions she had asked countless times ringing through her head. Why do I have these dreams? What happened to me? Why don't I remember? Of course, she could never answer them and chose to ignore them. The Bhaskara's pack leader was nice enough to let Eclipse join the pack and have a home. She had yet to meet anyone from this pack though so she had been trying to stay out of the way.
Her white colored coat looked silver under the moonlight as she went on her way. Another dog's scent quickly hit her nose along with the scent of rabbit and blood. She turned to the direction it came from and kept her pace as she made her way to the other dog. She saw a brown colored dog that looked to be an Australian Shepherd. She made her way down the small slope she was on and went through the bushes before she let out a low greeting bark.
