Appearence: Sera exudes innocence. From every pore of her body. From her crystal blue eyes, to her full pouty lips. Long brown tresses frame an oval shaped face. She is tall, and thin. Almost dangerously so.
Abilities: As a mermaid, she has the typical ability to have her legs transformed into a tail upon entering the water. She is an exceptional swimmer, and can hold her breath for hours on end. Along with her merfolk abilities, she can heal very quickly. By drawing on her own energy flow, she can heal others as well, even if the wound is near fatal. Although she hasn't tried it, she is able to bring someone back from the dead, but use of this ends up with her in a semi-comatose state for three to four days.

Personality
Personality: Naive. If there were one word to describe Sera, that would be it. And however much she hates to admit it, its pretty spot on. She is very clueless about the world around her, and is almost always living in a state of confusion. She isn't stupid. But there are some things that just go right over her head. She is soft-spoken, and that has gotten her into some trouble. Especially since she is a model. A world where one has to be vocal and loud, outgoing, to get one's name out there. She gets by mainly on her looks, but has been known to charm a few designers into booking her with her schoolgirl innocence. She is not quick to jump the gun, never jumping to conclusions about anything. And though she may not think things through sometimes, she has the best intentions at heart, and only wants the best for those she knows. She is kind, and even tempered, and it takes a lot to anger her.

History: Seraphina has lived a long life. One that she doesn't speak of often. She was born roughly around 1745, though one shouldn't ask for the exact date. She is unsure of it. Her parents were both merfolk, and so she was raised in the sea. Life was as easy as it could be, when one wasn't avoiding sharks and fishermans nets. Sera found herself caught up in a net or two, before the great unveiling. When she found herself longing for the land that her parents had so often told her to avoid.
Her father was killed just before she was to begin her life in New York City, killed by a fisherman.Upon this tragic event, Sera fled her home, and family, to start again in the city, leaving behind any life she had ever knew. Before she knew it, she had been swept up into the fashion industry, her innocent, yet sultry, looks gaining her many fans. She has lived in the city for four years now, and isn't open about her true nature. Despite this, she finds time to visit the sea nearly three times a week, to satisfy her needs as a mermaid.
