The Basics
Name: Caleb Sinner (doesn't share his real last name)
Nicknames: Sin
Gender: Male
Date of Birth: Christmas Day
Age: 415
Sexuality: heterosexual
Clan: La morte prima della Creazione
Appearance:
Caleb is tall, and statuesque. He stands at six-one with broad shoulders and muscles. He isn't bulky, and looks damned good in a two-piece classic suit. His hair is kept short, and he has little facial hair. Most evenings, he is clean-shaven, and others, he sports a light beard. His eyes are ever staring, a dusky brown that turns gold whenever he uses his abilities. Beneath the moonlight, he paints the romantic image any woman would fall for. Often, he wears a smirk, and never would he bear an unkept appearance. He can go casual with his clothes, but he is particular with his colors. Nothing bright, but dark and solid colors.
Abilities:
Fear - he can exalt this ability through his aura, a cold dreadful feeling that wraps around like a thick miasma, or a cloud and makes his victim(s) uncomfortable. A chill would pass over them, and they'd feel heavy as if a weight was forced on their shoulders. This aura he could pull back on a whim, but it does exert a lot of energy and he would need immediate nourishment if he goes over his limit. Along with his aura, his eyes would turn black as night if he were to make eye contact with his victim. That alone would capture the few moments he needs to fill them with an irrational fear, starting with the creepy-crawly feeling of a million bugs throughout their body. Then they would be presented with the illusion of what they'd fear the most, no matter how minor or major, they would see it until he looks away or blink. He could easily get distracted, and it requires much concentration on his part to keep the Fear going. Overuse of either abilities would have him in a condition to feed. He'd feel lethargic, migraines would start...
Dreamweaving - only through intimate, flesh-to-flesh contact that he would open up a link with him and another. This is a rare ability for him to use since he's particular with whom he'd share his dreams with... Since the hours of the dreaming differ from reality, his maximum is two hours and this puts him in a comatose, also vulnerable state. The exercise the dreaming would exalt a lot of his energy that he would need to feed immediately after.
Natural charms - since his abilities are made to repel, he doesn't have the Vampire-made allure.
Preternatural senses - fortitude (strength), speed, endurance... With a few unique traits, he has all that encompasses a powerful and fairly old vampire.

Personality
Personality: he is a typical man, who enjoys living the luxury of what life has to offer. He indulges in the company of women, especially the fine pleasures of trying everything at least once. With someone who manipulates Fear and Dreams, Caleb can be a terrifying adversary if not a valuable accomplice... or ally. He has a sadistic streak, but he's far from chauvinistic. In fact, he is quite a gentleman, but his flirtatious and sexually-carefree ways can get under the skin of many women. He's confident, charming, but dangerous. He often jests and shows no regard for Hunters. They are merely game to him, and he takes pleasure in bringing out the worst in people with a few, snide words. One could say that he is neutral, but he is a Vampire, after all. Anger is a rare emotion for this one, though it certainly is there, and it only a few had ever brought out that side of him that goes beyond the "gentlemanly" and "infuriatingly lighthearted" demeanor he keeps. Rage can fuel his Fear ability and turn his pleasant dreaming into a Nightmare. His emotions are closely guarded. He only ever shows the mischievous side, and has lived long enough to cover up his thick Scottish-mixed-Irish brogue. Unless of course... he gets mad.
Likes: women, apples, smoking, alcohol, and mind games.
Dislikes: the sunlight and hunters.
The Past
Family: Gone. Swept away by sickness, mortality and uncontrollable bloodlust. He does not speak of his past, and therefore, does not disclose familial information.
Pets: do humans count?
History: "Who am I, you ask? I'm Caleb Sinner, and I came from overseas. I can change accents on a whim. Where is my family? Gone, years... no, centuries ago. I hail from the Highlands, from the hilly lands covered in snow. My mother passed when I'd been born, and would I speak of the others? No, I don' feel like it. You can say that I ended up an orphan. Nothing was left to keep me going except for my hopes and dreams. I was a starvin' lad, and I'd learned the art of deception. I wasn't a bad lookin' lad. Women fawned over my looks, men were curious or jealous. I never went that way, 'cept to fool them into emptying their pockets.
Eventually, I made an identity for myself. I threw away my last name for something new. With nothing as my background, I was a mystery to every woman I'd come across. Love took me blindly by the belt, to this blond lass that would make and break me. Siobahn was her name, and she was quite lovely. I saw the future with her. I was only twenty-seven, my life barely startin' as this new lad. I wasn't some poor orphan anymore, but a man who had built his own wealth - even if it wasn't 'clean.'
Karma, it seems, took me by the throat and forced me to watch my wife and firstborn die. The labor had been excruciating... taking her and the baby's life. Once again, I was alone, and I didn't care anymore about power or wealth. Diving into my thirties, I was drinkin', turning more shameful by the minute. If Siobahn had been alive to see, she'd been surely disappointed. I drank, and threw my money out, blind with my grief and depression. My temper caused fear and fright, my dreams made my restless because they were nightmares.
I was a pathetic human, dying slowly on the inside and killing myself fast on the out. My liver eventually failed me, as would my kidneys. I was lying on my deathbed, waiting to join my unborn child and Siobahn when a woman appeared, like an Angel admist my delusion. She said she would grant me my freedom from this life, grief, nightmares and fears. I was by then a delusional man, desperate for any change. In reality, I didn't want to die, but what other choice did I have but to waste away, living?
She told me to call her Mother, and she changed me... and my powers bloomed. Mother taught me everything I needed to know in this new life, even control of these abilities. We would eventually part ways... and I would find a new way to humor myself. I've reached high times and low times as a Vampire, watching while being not-quite-so-invisible. Humans were mere toys for me to use my abilities on. I no longer thing of my past, because I was no longer the man I once was. I am Caleb Sinner, Master of Fear. Care to join me in this one dance?"

RP EXAMPLE:
Caleb was bored. Again. Time and time, the meetings had been repeating the same thing, over and over again. It was a fight between humans as cattle or humans as well... humans. The debate made him roll his eyes. He hadn't been human for over three centuries, he didn't need to hear this. As far as he knew, humans were his meals, or creatures he could do whatever with. He wasn't exactly a bad guy, but he wasn't entirely good. He might've indulged in playing with his 'food' a little too much though.
With a shiny, red apple in hand, Caleb bit loudly into one as he strolled down the boulevard with the night air dancing around him. The nutrients didn't do anything for him, but he liked the texture. He had been fond of apples in his youth, so why not keep the habit? There was no harm... in eating an apple, as long as it was once a day. To himself, he was merely walking, but to the eyes of others, he was a mere blur, a passing wind because of his preternatural speed. He was content to simply walk, and for once, not be in the company of women and excess luxury.
